About me
I am Belén Jorge, the adventurous women who created Santiago Way Star. I walk with you in every Camino, make all reservations carefully selected, and design all the exclusive activities offered. Giving you an authentic experience of a luxury pilgrimage.
My two passions, the Spanish culture and trekking in nature, joined, when I started to work for another travel company, ten years ago. Since then I have been accompanying pilgrims through this epic journey, designing new routes, and expertizing in all logistics involved. I am glad to tell you that I love my job and how the Camino is part of me. I don´t know why, but it really approaches me to the Joy of Life.
This is what I want to share with you with all the wonders of Spain, my beautiful country. After travelling all around the world, I realice how rich and unique is my own culture. I have a degree in History of Art from Complutense University of Madrid, and after some years of experience doing the Camino, I decided to run my own company. Santiago Way Star is the story of a dream made true.
